Coverage. All four units of the current DP Theatre syllabus are covered across 45 lessons — Staging play texts, Exploring world theatre traditions, Collaboratively creating original theatre, and the HL-only Performing theatre theory unit — framed by the nine key concepts including Transformation, Collaboration, Perspective, and Presentation, and aligned to the assessment objectives throughout.
How the lessons work. Each lesson follows a clear teaching arc — a hook to surface prior thinking, structured development of the core skill or concept, guided practical or analytical tasks, and an evaluative or reflective activity — with explicit learning objectives, command-term focus, ATL skill links, and differentiation for SL & HL. Every lesson ships with a lesson plan, a student worksheet, and a mark scheme.
Assessment-ready. Tasks are mapped to the Theatre assessment components — the Solo Theatre Piece, the Research Presentation, the Collaborative Project, and the Director's Notebook — so students build the skills, vocabulary, and reflective habits each component demands throughout the course.
